Function

We identify new proteins across nearly every axonemal complex, including an ARMH1 subcomplex that is distributed asymmetrically around the axoneme based on in situ cryo-ET data(Extended Data Fig. 4a,b)(39743588). Identified by cryo-EM as an external microtubule-associated protein of the doublet microtubules in sperm flagella and other motile cilia (Leung et al., 2025, Nature, PMID 39743588).
