Function

Survivin(BIRC5) is expressed only during cell division, survivin was co-localized at the mitotic plate and/or kinetochore in metaphase, whereas it was localized at the mid-body at late telophase, and co-localized with acetylated-a-tubulin. Survivin has an important role in the genomic instability observed in cilia mutant cells in vitro and in vivo ( 21041232).
