Function

Endogenous CAPS2 accumulates prominently at the ciliary base in RPE1 cells and , firmly embedded in the centrosome compartment. CAPS2 was enriched at the basal bodies of motile cilia and CAPS2 is likely to also localize along the length of human fallopian tube cilia, indicating that CAPS2 is universally localized to centrosomes or cilia in the human body(38538594).
