Function

PD-L1 (CD274) is enriched at the centrosome/basal body and Golgi apparatus of ciliated cells. Depletion of PD-L1 enhances ciliogenesis and increases accumulation of Rab8a, BBS5, and PC-2. Forms complex with BBS5 and PC-2. Depletion causes ciliary accumulation of Gli3 and downregulation of Gli1 (PMID:38920633).
