Function

CDHR3 expression in cilia of bronchial epithelial cells, CDHR3 functions in the airways and link CDHR3 asthma-risk genotype to increased RV-C binding and replication(30916989). The localization of CDHR3 near the basal bodies in ciliating and mature ciliated cells raised the possibility of its involvement in ciliogenesis (30930175).
