Function

Required for anchoring the subdistal appendages (SDA) complex in the centrifuge to the cytoplasmic microtubule network. It is an FHDC1 buinding protein to keep this connection (29742020). Recruits microtubule-depolymerizing factor KIF2A to disassemble cilium (31197141).
