Function
CFAP77A and CFAP77B proteins expressed as fusions with C-termi l 3HA tag under the control of respective tive promoters revealed that CFAP77A is present at the proximal end of the cilium while CFAP77B localizes along the entire cilium length except for the distal tip (37061538).

Cilia- and flagella-associated protein 77 (CFAP77) has been identified as a microtubule inner protein in various species, but its role in mammalian sperm function has not been fully elucidated.
The core outer junction protein CFAP77 connects A- and B-tubules within doublet microtubules of cilia and flagella.
