Function

CREB1 at the basal body, which co-localized to the nucleoplasm, supporting the hypothesis that the cilium controls gene expression by local modification of transcription factors beyond Sonic Hedgehog signaling, as shown recently for CREB1. The ciliary signalosome relies on an increase in ciliary cAMP level and subsequent PKA‐dependent phosphorylation of CREB in the cilium(35695071).
