  • Metabolism
  • Signaling (Hedgehog, GPCRs, ion channels)

Function

Mammalian G-protein coupled receptor (GPCR) with high affinity for corticotropin-releasing hormone (CRH) and the CRH family of peptides, involved in neurotransmitters sig ling. Component of ciliogenesis pathways. Studies suggest that GPCRs may regulate endocytic membrane trafficking, playing sensory or sig lling roles in the ciliary vesicle or procilium at the earliest stages of ciliogenesis both in the developing brain and in other tissues.
