Function

CXCL12 targets the primary cilium cAMP/cGMP ratio to regulate cell polarity during migration, and CXCL12 secreted by SVZ cortical progenitors binds to ciliary-located CXCR4 receptors on tangentially migrating MGE cells, thereby reducing ciliary cAMP levels(38049397).
