  • Transcription regulation

Function

Essential for the docking of basal bodies to the apical plasma membrane through the activation of the Rho GTPase. DVL and Rho are required for the pla r polarization of basal bodies that underlies directio l beating of cilia (18552847). DVL is a central component of WNT sig lling. PTEN regulates multicilia formation and cilia disassembly by controlling the phosphorylation of DVL (26399523).
