Function
Required for the correct assembly of the dynein complex. It has been implicated in controlling its association with cargo molecules (25205765). Component of the WDR34 subcomplex (DYNLL1/DYNLL2 and DYNLRB1/DYNLRB2), crucial for dynein-2 function in retrograde ciliary protein trafficking (30649997). DYNLRB1 is essential for dynein-mediated axo l transport of lysosomes, late endosomes and sig ling endosomes (32088381)
