Function
Also known as TCTEX1. Light chain subunit of cytoplasmic dynein. Regulation of ciliary resorption and S-phase entry. Tctex-1 is not required for ciliogenesis, but is critical for cilium disassembly (21394082). Component of dynein-2. Modulator of cilia length control, depletion is associated to increased cilia length (21700358). Depletion of Tctex-1 results in increase cilia length.
