Function
For the first time we here show that these proteins are selectively expressed in a human cilium at the protein level. KIAA2012, FHAD1, MS4A8 and C7orf57 were previously uncharacterized and lack functional predictions, and the gene RIIAD1 had no previous protein or transcript evidence. Immunostaining of RIIAD1 showed a distinct expression in the entire cilium.
