H1-7 has localized in flagella. H1-7 (H1FNT) is a testis-specific histone H1 linker protein, expressed intronless. It is critical for spermiogenesis, chromatin condensation, and histone-protamine transition in sperm. Lindication: localizes in the nucleus / chromatin.
