Function

Physiological substrate of Nek2. It prevents the outgrowth of cilia in proliferating cells. Ensure the disassembly of a ciliary axoneme in the later stages of the cell cycle (26290419). Interacts with CP110 and Cep97. Regulates ciliogenesis by dynamically controlling microtubule polymerisation (21620453). Controls the formation of primary cilia by restricting the nucleation of cilia at centrioles, it regulates CP110 localisation at mother centrioles (21663786).
