Function

Multiple regulators constrain the abundance of Caenorhabditis elegans DLK-1 in ciliated sensory neurons(39854273). In C. elegans ciliated sensory neurons, DLK-1 (the MAP3K12 ortholog) accumulates in the defective sensory endings of ift mutants, and an IFT-dependent DLK-1/CEBP-1 feedback loop protects cilia from degeneration (PMID 37722038).
