Subcellular localization
basal body, centriolar satellites, cilia, endoplasmic reticulum
Functional category
- Ciliary assembly/disassembly
- Protein processing & maturation; Ciliary assembly/disassembly
Function
PDIA6 has localized in cilia.; Protein Disulfide Isomerase in the ER. Depletion leads to increased ER stress, which in turn impairs primary ciliogenesis and enhances sensitivity to ferroptosis in kidney cells(39044457).
