Function
Ciliogenesis is reciprocally regulated by PPARA and NR1H4/FXR through controlling autophagy in vitro and in vivo. Regulates autophagy by controlling transcription of genes involved in autophagic pathways, and activation of PPARA facilitated ciliogenesis independently of cellular nutritio l states by activating autophagy (29771182).
