Function

Also called SHP2. Responsible for craniofacial skeletal formation by regulation of primary cilia formation in chondrocytes, especially in the craniofacial region. Positively regulates ciliogenesis through IFT regulation in condyle cartilage. Deficiency shortens length and reduces number of primary cilia (25919282).
