Function

T-Complex-Associated-Testis-Expressed 1 (TCTE1) is an evolutio rily conserved axonemal protein present from Chlamydomo s (DRC5) to mammals that localizes to the N-DRC and mouse TCTE1 is testis-enriched in its expression, with its mR appearing in early round spermatids and protein localized to the flagellum (28630322).

Model organism evidence

Mus musculus (1 reference)

Nexin-Dynein regulatory complex component DRC7 but not FBXL13 is required for sperm flagellum formation and male fertility in mice.
