POC16 in Chlamydomo s, localises to the central core region of the centriole in Chlamydomo s, which correlates with the region of tubulin glutamylation in humans. Recruited after the cartwheel protein CrSAS-6 and before tubulin glutamylation. Localizes to mother and daughter centrioles in human RPE1 cells and is required for ciliogenesis (28781053)
